Max stood watching Night in the new pasture of the new ranch. He had alot of things on his mind lately only watching horses could help. He was waiting on Kayla to get home. Since he had got the wedding done even though his aunt never got to see it. He had quit his job as a cop to run the new ranch. He and Nathan were the only ones on the ranch right now. But, there was a kid hanging around with Nathan named Kalvin. No one knew who this kid was or why he was here. But, the main house was where Max and Kayla stayed with the dogs and two cats. The second house not far from the barns is where Nathan, Kalvin and whoever else on the ranch grounds stayed. But, today was a birthday of Bloom Perkins, who had died many months after finally being found. But, Max was worried about Night. The black thoroughbred was sick and not doing so good. Demon, Bloom's old horse was in pasture next to Night's pasture. Poopr Demon had bones showing all over. He had refused to eat but always ate on Bloom's birthday or on days he normally got worked by her. No one could even touch him yet.
